Heraldry of the Phi Beta Chapter

Arms - Quarterly: first and fourth sable, two dexter hands hand-in-hand in fess between the Greek capital letters Psi and Upsilon, the former in chief, the latter in base, or; second and third vert, a sylized Phi Beta Kappa key. Each key contains a diamond sable in the upper corner sinister and an open hand in the lower corner dexter. The center of each key contains the Greek letters Phi Beta. The stylized Phi Beta Kappa key represents the history of fraternities, as Phi Beta Kappa was the first Greek letter society and was founded at William and Mary. The colors reflect those of the University. The diamond and open hand are symbols of the enduring nature of friendship.

Crest - on a wreath of or and vert an owl argent

Motto - "We are steadfast friends" as translated from the Greek; presented vert on a scroll argent
