Hosted by the Epsilon Nu chapter, this summer's Convention will take place in East Lansing, Michigan from June 26-28. You can register for all of the Convention or just the special events you would like to attend. Register today because early registration discounts end on June 1.

Aaron Boe
The 2015 Leadership Institute will address one of the most pressing issues on campus today - sexual assault. Aaron Boe is a national speaker on sexual assault and relational aggression prevention.

He is known for taking an innovative, positive approach to addressing serious issues. Aaron is a consultant and curriculum developer for men's and women's fraternal organizations, and his content and programs reach over 100,000 collegiate members each year.

Lance Miller, EN '84
Lance Miller, Epsilon Nu '84 is an award winning speaker and trainer. He will bring to the Convention Banquet podium a unique mix of talent and life experience that has shaped his philosophy and viewpoint of the world.

Lance is a member of Toastmasters International and is a Distinguished Toastmaster. In 2005 he emerged from a field of 28,000 contestants from 90 countries to win the title of the World Champion of Public Speaking.

Friday evening, June 26
Michigan Princess Riverboat Cruise

The Epsilon Nu Chapter along with its alumni, the Hesperian Society, is hosting Convention attendees for a riverboat cruise on the Grand River. The Michigan Princess was first captained by John Chamberlain, Epsilon Nu '71 and is currently run by his son Chris Chamberlain, Epsilon Nu '11.

Cookout at the Epsilon Nu

The Epsilon Nu chapter is opening its doors at 810 West Grand River for a BBQ and tours. The chapter house, built in 1926, is truly one of the finest at Michigan State University.

Psi U Serviceman Honored
Cpt. Colin Jones, Phi Delta '06 (Mary Washington) was recognized for his service as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

He was honored before game 3 of the Eastern Conference second round playoffs between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.

2015 Graduates
From San Diego to Syracuse, 315 members of the class of 2015 celebrated success in college with graduation. Many acknowledged Psi U's role in that success by decorating their mortarboards or by wearing Psi U stoles and garnet and gold cords.

Lambda Sigma Presents $10,000 Check
On May 23, Stuart Slayton, Lambda Sigma '17 (Pepperdine) and Jordan Mastalerz, Lambda Sigma '16 attended the 2015 Racing to Recovery Gala in Indianapolis. At the event they presented Sam Schmidt, Lambda Sigma '86 with a check for $10,000 for his Conquer Paralysis Now foundation.

Sam was a founder, and first president, of Lambda Omega Sigma, which became the Lambda Sigma chapter in 1998. Every year the Lambda Sigma chapter raises money for Conquer Paralysis Now by holding a campus-wide dance competition "Psi U Think U Can Dance".

Pi One of Top Syracuse Chapters
For the fourth year consecutive year, the Pi chapter at Syracuse University achieved Chancellor's Gold Cup recognition. The award is presented to Syracuse fraternities that achieve the highest level of recognition through the Office of Greek Life's accreditation program.

Epsilon Nu Team Raises $50,000 for Relay for Life
  The Epsilon Nu chapter, along with chapters of Alpha Xi Delta and Phi Kappa Psi, set an ambitious $20,000 goal the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event. It turns out the goal wasn't ambitious enough as they raised more than $50,000, making it the top team at Michigan State University.

One of their main motivations is supporting Michael Bordas EN '17 who is currently being treated for a form of Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Balfour Fellowships for Graduate Students
Balfour Fellowships are interfraternal scholarships provided by the North American Interfraternity Conference Foundation. Established in 1985, the fellowships provide financial assistance to full-time students enrolled in accredited graduate or professional schools.

Selection is based on excellence in many areas including fraternity and interfraternity service, campus and community involvement, enhancement of fraternity ideals, and scholastic achievement. The minimum GPA requirement is 3.8. Initiated members of Psi Upsilon are eligible to apply. Applications are due June 30, 2015.

Annual Fund Update

Gifts to the 2015 Annual Fund support educational programs, scholarships, chapter support and the promotion of moral, intellectual and social excellence.

Our goal for the year is 1,000 donors. To date, 431 brothers have already made gifts and will be recognized at the 172nd Psi Upsilon Convention next month.
