Chi Delta Selected for Fulbright Chair in Canada

Last fall, Martin Heintzelman, Chi Delta '98 (Duke), a Clarkson University School of Business professor began conducting environmental economics research in Canada as a recipient of a prestigious Fulbright Chair in Canada.

Heintzelman, an environmental economist, is researching the intersection of local policies, property values and new energy facilities. In particular, he is focusing on how property values are affected by new energy facilities, such as windfarms, pipelines or powerlines. He is also looking at how increasing the amount of oil transported by rail is perceived by homeowners.

Learn more about Heintzelman's research here.
