Mark is president and chief executive office of the Psi Upsilon Foundation. He is responsible for directing all fund raising efforts of the Foundation, editing The Diamond of Psi Upsilon and other publications, and fostering alumni relations. Mark is also general counsel to the Executive Council and Foundation board of directors.

Mark A. WilliamsMark received his A.B. (with distinction) from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Detroit School of Law, where he wrote for the Journal of Urban Law. After a clerkship at the Arizona Supreme Court, Mark practiced insurance defense law prior to becoming Psi U's executive director in June, 1990. He served as the Fraternity's executive director from 1990 until August, 2012. Mark has been chief staff officer of the Foundation since 1991.

Mark earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2014. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education, demonstrated fundraising achievement and a commitment to leadership and service to not-for-profit organizations. In addition they have passed a rigorous written examination testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive. They also have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.

In 1999 Mark received the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives. Among association professionals, CAE is an indication of demonstrated skill in leadership, activity in community affairs, and expertise in association management. Mark is the only current NIC Foundation executive to hold both credentials.

Mark is vice president of FRMT, Ltd and chairman of its audit committee. He has served as president of the Fraternity Executives Association, chairman of the Institute for Greek Advancement, and as an officer of FIPG and Greek Properties. Mark is a past director of the University of Michigan Alumni Association board of directors, where he was chairman of the Clubs Council.

Mark is a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and F1 auto racing, an Army veteran and a two-time finisher of the Hawaii Ironman triathlon. Mark and Mariann Williams were married in 1984 and have two sons, Evan and Alec. Mark will be retiring at the end of 2017.

Chris earned his A.B. in Medieval and Renaissance Studies with a minor in Chemistry at Duke University. After graduating, Chris interned with Duke's Undergraduate Admissions Office. He moved to Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 2013 as its Interview Coordinator.

Chris has taken on a number of roles within Psi Upsilon before this one. As an undergraduate, he served as recruitment chair and archon. He interned at the International office in 2011, and served on the Undergraduate Advisory Board during his senior year. Chris chipped in as an alumni volunteer for the 170th Psi Upsilon Convention and Leadership Institute at Duke University. Several months later, he was elected to serve as the Alumni Advisor for the Chi Delta chapter.

Chris is an avid gamer. For the past six years, he has attended the annual World Boardgame Championships in Seven Springs, PA, as a competitor, staff volunteer, and tournament organizer. Chris is also a regular competitor in local pub trivia contests and escape rooms.

Bethann earned her degree in languages and international law from Hope College. She has worked in the catering and dining services industry for a variety of firms. In 2015, she shifted careers into human resources and administrative support.
