2017 Leadership Institute
This year we are taking advantage of the opportunity that convention offers us and building a 3 day leadership institute, alternating between large group sessions, small group discussions, and other activities, with each session building off the previous one.
Curriculum is being built around the 5 values of Psi Upsilon Fraternity: Lifelong Friendship, Moral Leadership, Intellectual Engagement, Responsible Social Conduct, and Service to Society. Small group discussions and activities will encourage brothers to share their own experiences and be able to get feedback from their peers and alumni. It will also allow convention attendees to get to know one another better. Alumni involvement is crucial to these sessions, the knowledge and life experience of alumni in these conversations is critical and will give them a better window into how they can work with their own chapters.
We will convene Convention and hold the necessary legislative work of the Fraternity over the weekend, but have no New Business or Old Business so we do not anticipate holding committee meetings this year.
As convention approaches we will have more information about the convention. If you are an alumnus and would like to volunteer to be a group leader, and help facilitate discussions please reach out to Executive Director Tom Fox.
